Doula care is an essential layer of support that bridges knowledge, emotional grounding, and hands-on comfort. Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, our doulas provide guidance rooted in compassion, education, and evidence-based care.

Support begins after signing an agreement and includes:

• Prenatal support sessions starting as early as 24 weeks gestation

• On-call labor support beginning at 37 weeks

• Hands-on assistance and advocacy throughout labor and delivery

• Immediate postpartum support (up to 3 hours after birth) to ensure a safe and supported transition into parenthood

• Post-birth follow-up and recovery support tailored to your needs

Depending on the package and availability, support is provided either in-person or virtually.

Appointment Structure & Doula Pairing

Once enrolled, your care begins with a consultation to outline your vision, preferences, and any concerns. You’ll be matched with either a seasoned doula or a newer doula gaining hands-on experience, who may be paired with a mentor or work collaboratively with an experienced doula to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.

The structure includes:

• 3 Prenatal sessions starting at 24 weeks

• Regular check-ins to build trust and prepare for birth

• On-call labor support from 37 weeks through delivery (max 15 hours)

• Immediate postpartum presence for recovery and early bonding

• Optional postpartum visits scheduled after the birth up to 1, 3-hour & 3, 1-hour

Financial Information

We offer tiered pricing based on your household income and family size. After reviewing your confidential income information, we’ll present you with an aligned rate and payment plan.

Key payment policies include:

• A 35% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to secure your place

• The remaining balance is paid in installments, with the final payment due within 30 days after your last scheduled session

• Postpartum care under this program is eligible for reimbursement through Carrot or Maven Wallet (Labor support reimbursement may become available in the future)

Limited Availability

To ensure quality care, sliding scale spaces are limited each quarter. Once capacity is reached, we maintain a waitlist and notify families as spots become available.

Because this program also supports the development of new doulas, some clients may be matched with emerging professionals under direct guidance from our lead doulas. This model offers a deeply collaborative, affordable care experience rooted in both mentorship and personalized service.
